The choice depends on your height and build. Shin guards should cover from the ankle to below the knee, also protecting the instep without limiting movement. As a guideline: size S is for people from 155 to 165 cm, size M between 165 and 175 cm, size L between 175 and 185 cm and size XL for over 185 cm.
